Boggart: For someone who spends their life slipping in and out of varying stages of psychosis, spooky things popping out of closets and wardrobes is nothing short of everyday normalcy. For Lithia, the boggart doesn't appear in the form of a monster or a ghost. It comes in the form of a great black void of shadows, and little voices perching upon her shoulders and whispering terrible things in her ears. Judgmental, terrible things. The sort of behind your back whispers that one may overhear by chance that causes them to spend the rest of the week pondering the actual value of their own life. Worst of all it's not just audible inside her head. Anyone else within the room can hear it plain as day, making the whole experience just as awkward and humiliating as it is painful. -To make it go away, the Ridikulus incantation is cast with a bit of a muggle twist in mind, and the void disappears, voices receding into the shape of an old radio spouting off the most enthusiastic Spanish ad for K-mart's Fruit of the Loom brand underwear.

~History~
Born of a no-mag mother, and a wizard father, Lithia lead a relatively complicated existence in the very beginning. Her grandparents on her father's side despised her mother, and eventually manipulated her father into breaking the marriage off entirely. Lithia was taken away from the no-mag world, rarely allowed to see her mother after that point. Her grandparents were hell-bent on squashing the no-mag taint right out of their half-blood granddaughter's veins, and started feeding her pretty little head full of magic early on in life.

They discovered her strange abilities almost just as early, when she started suffering from what they originally thought to be night-terrors, but turned out to be vivid tellings of violent future happenings. Her grandmother took absolute delight in this. -Started making young Lithia pay close attention to details in her nightmares. Training her to look for all the specifics until it got to the point where she could experience these dreams in a lucid state. But making predictions by way of dreamwalking was barely the start of a long, hellish road to finding out just how many methods she could use in the ways of divination. Haruspicy, Augury, they even built Lithia her own Psychomanteum, and forced her to learn how to properly utilize it.

Her ability may have been pushed a little far, but her grandmother considered it all part of the curse of the seer's eye. Lithia now lapses into dreams when she's wide awake, losing touch with reality entirely and wandering off like a sleep-walker to chase her way through the void. An unfortunate side effect that tends to happen against her will, and often times puts her vulnerable human body in danger, as she is left completely oblivious to the outside world.

~Hobbies~
This list could stand to be lengthier, because it'll never include socializing. But the depressing fact about her abilities is that they tend to control her life. But, aside from hallucinating, Lithia is also quite the artist. Her favored mediums seem to linger somewhere between ink and acrylic paints. She's done many a lovely piece, some of them are even enchanted to move just like the portraits in the halls but her works are a bit more... Macabre. And some may find the lifelike movements of such an abstract piece to be a little disturbing. Needless to say she also isn't one to show off or take a whole lot of pride in what she does. It's more like an outlet, for filtering away the more fucked up images in her head.

What's possibly worse is that over the summer her subject of choice seemed to be centered around one face in particular. Dorothy, apparently one of the previous occupants to her new room in the Ravenclaw house. But she hasn't brought it up to anyone else because sometimes the dreams she depicts aren't 100% accurate, especially in her art work. Her art pieces are just that. A filter for the dreamcatcher's web that is her mind.

Other interests may include reading, and studying. Just because she doesn't know the meaning of the term social life. She has something of a love for animals, and strange magical creatures and it isn't unlikely to find her out in the middle of the woods somewhere, observing the local wildlife instead of attending dances or getting into the middle of gossip and rumors. When it comes to “peopling” Lithia is little more than a brick wall towering from a foundation of sheer anxiety. -So try not to touch her. For fuck sake. She might explode on impact. Seriously, the bitch has problems.
