Hello, I play "Area" and was wondering if something is wrong I can no longer sign into the chat. Had I done something wrong or broken a rule?
Edit: Wait when I played earlier today I tried to make a character named Glenn_Aura to try and mess with some peoples heads that were talking in a room maybe did that have something to do with it? Maybe a banned name or somethin?
Don't do that. When you register a name with a perma-ban attached to it, the ban rolls over to you. You can get back in now. |

I was wondering why I(username: Raar~) was banned? It's not letting me get into the chat, saying that I've either been banished from the room or banned from the chat.

Uggghh, I mislinked it. I've never been in any sort of predicament where a mod has had to talk to me or anything, and even so, the image wasn't promoting sexism, bashing, and couldn't be considered 'hate-flameing' or anything of that nature. It's a 'morbid' image, I do understand, but it was an accident. |

I've PMed you twice, with a six month gap in between, and gotten a response neither time. The first time, I was just trying to contact you as a person, and it had nothing to do with this thread. I suppose it's easier to call me out in public and make me look like some kind of obsessive, inbox-spamming stalker than it is to just click a "reply" button.
More on the subject of this thread. I would like to discuss my ban again. It's been over a year--nearly two. My original reason for banning was the dirty images in my photobucket which weren't even linked to--and this was only supposedly worthy of a 30 day anyway. The reason it was made permanent was my supposed intention to hack TK, which we've been over a dozen times and I don't think anybody really buys it.
Look, I'm no more dangerous to TK now than I ever was. I'd like to point out the six years without any behavioral infractions before my sudden, outright, permanent removal over questionable reasons.
The nearly two-year ban is quite a sentence in and of itself, which I'd like to believe covers whatever crimes I am guilty of. So I am asking that the ban be changed from permanent to 18 months, a period which has already passed, so that I can enter.
I wanted to keep this to PMs due to the obvious shitstorm that will likely arise.

Don't count on the ban ending at 12:01 am. :/ The mods aren't going to leap out of bed (or work, or whatever) to make sure they unban you the moment the clock rolls over. |

The ban counts days as full twenty-four hour periods, and thus expires the same time of day that it was placed, not the morning of. It was sometime in the evening, if I recall correctly.

Hello. I dunno if my friend is registered for the forums. I'm just trying to help him. He plays as /whois Martin /whois Raven and /whois Brian_Shigi. Today he registered witht he name /whois Tool, which come to find out is on the permaban list. He didn't realize this until he was banned and just now as I spoke with Vivi. Can we get this fixed? Please?

A British friend of mine is encountering an issue with getting in to any site associated with Nexxushost. He continually gets forwarded to a gambling site whenever he attempts to come here. He has searched for spyware and has deleted all of his cookies in addition to trying different browsers. Nothing helps.
I'm not sure if this sort of tech support request falls under the purpose of this thread, but I figured I would try to post it here before I made a new thread.

Sounds like he's got one of those web hijackers. It's a particular type of malware that intercepts your browser and replaces certain common URLs you use to redirect you to bullshit sites to give you even more malware.
Some things to try:
Spybot Search & Destroy
Hijack This

So I'm not having an issue getting into the chat per se, but I'm having an issue with the functions I'm used to having. I recently switched to Google Chrome to try it out, and see how well it works - and for most things Chrome seems to work more cleanly than Firefox.
...Except that it doesn't seem to like tK. At all.
Is this just some sort of disagreement between Chrome and tK, or is there something I can do to get something like auto-refresh to work?
