A few years ago there was a thread about speed drawing, and people were encouraged to draw up a picture in under five minutes and post it. It wasn't about quality, it was about fast work and doing something just on the fly for fun. A lot of people have trouble working quickly, so they found it helpful to have a situation where they were encouraged to just draw whatever as fast as they possibly could to build up their skills.

How this contest works is it's open ended. The last person to post art is the current winner. It doesn't matter what kind of art it is. The other thing is you should have drawn whatever it is in less than five minutes.

One more thing: when you post your picture, take a look at whoever posted something previous to you and compliment then on something about it. There's a lot of mistakes you can make in five minutes, mistakes aren't a big deal: find something that *worked.*

So grab the pencil or mouse and let the game begin!
