Well I'm going to be "running" a very loose pick-up-and-play RP. More like a shared universe we all contribute to. I'm going to throw out most of the superheroes I've created over the years, and you guys can add who you want to play. One thing I want to do though is to have you guys play villains as well. I'll be the big Darkseid/Lex Luthor villains and you guys can handle the rest. I will be adding more and more characters to this. This is just a quickly written rough draft.

The setting:

A fictional city near Seattle called Brubaker. It's kind of stuck in the 90s. People wear plaid.

My characters

Heroes:

Starshock: Formerly a truck driver, Starshock is nothing like the man he used to be. He has transcended his humanity, becoming something more, although no one is sure what. He is the pre-eminent superhero of Brubaker, despite not really spending that much time there. Starshock only shows up to take out the trash when some space wizard attacks.

He and his girlfriend Glamazon (see below) were the victims of some sort of cosmic event that warped their natures and made them metahumans.

Starshock is an Aryan giant with the figure of a fullback. He wears a single piece black spandex with starbursts all over it, and a yellow cape.

Powers: Starshock has so many powers it hurts. He's got the full Superman spectrum, plus he can project some undefined energy and go intangible. He is a walking plot device.

Glamazon: Starshock's girlfriend (at least she used to be) Glamazon was the leader of a cult band, Glamazon and the Fashionistas. Since the only person who would really be harmed by someone finding out her identity is invulnerable, (her parents being dead) she decided to just use her band persona. Since Starshock has become more and more spacey, Glamazon has had to strike out on her own, with only decent success. She's known, sure, but not that much feared. The event didn't touch her in the same way it touched Starshock, but who knows what the future holds?

Glamazon is kind of a reluctant superhero, as she was talked into it by Starshock. She really likes it though, and wouldn't give it up.

Powers: Super strength, super toughness and flight. She's pretty bad at flying, though.

Villains:

The Royal: A strange entity that has attacked Starshock in the past. It claims to be the "embodiment of royalty and nobility" and wishes to destroy the Earth because we have abandoned rule by kings, and the few royals that are left are mocked.  So far, two distinct forms have been recognized: The King, and the Queen. They appear as the dominant ethnicity of whatever world or region they happen to be in at the time, and their clothes are the noble garb of that same area, always in purple. In America, they appear to be English nobles.

Powers: Limited reality bending. They call it "Divine Right".

Silver Skeleton: An undead necromancer from another dimension. There, the corpses of the dead are flayed and the skeletons are plated with metals. Silver is the most valuable metal there, so the ruling class get that. His power was too great to be contained by death, so he returned, to wreak havoc. Somehow, and he has never told the story, he ended up on Earth. He appears as... a silver skeleton. What did you expect?

Powers: Necromancy. He can hurl bolts of pure death, animate other skeletons, channel spirits, and other such things.

Go nuts, guys.
