Maya, as usual, didn't do much of anything lightly. This included the piercing of the dimensional barriers of the teleportation sequence. She popped out the other end, and had to care not to fall on her face, wobbling about for about a second before crouching in the grass and attempting to look through the thicket.
Spot check: 21:19:18 ( Alec rolls 1d20 => 12 ) - 4 = 8. She isn't a complete retard. With that is meant that she at least notices the camp from behind the bustle.
Hide check: 21:19:55 ( Alec rolls 1d20+2 => , + 2 4 ) + 4 = 8. Unsurprisingly, Maya can't hide much worth a damn, and thus would probably be easily noticed from behind the bushel.
Move Silently check: 21:19:59 ( Alec rolls 1d20+2 => , + 2 18 ). One might wonder what use this is, after being so blatantly conspicuous, but Maya does manage to be rather silent at least.
She looked at the others in the group and gave a grunt. "Well, I was hoping we'd start out a bit further away. So, should I start plugging burning holes in their tents now?" she asked silently, but not without a due fanatic glimmer in her dark eyes. The barbarianess was all too ready to start the fight, and thus, her hand clenched tensely around the nook of her composite bow, ready to align it and to start firing.
Maya's last thought before her mind geared into the action was that wizards never had and never will have any insight in the particulars of battle.

Spot check: 03:13:15 ( Memory rolls 1d20 => 16 ) -4 + 1= 13
Move silently check: 03:13:58 ( Memory rolls 1d20 => 6 ) + 8 = 14
Hide check: 03:14:27 ( Memory rolls 1d20 => 16 ) + 8 + 4 = 28
Well, he doesn't see a whole lot, and he's not TOO quiet either. But... He hides really really well, regardless.
He shook his head to Maya and whispered. "No, but be ready." He nodded to Kazin and motioned for her to head out there, whispering yet again. "Go be a diplomat."
He'd glance around to see where Kaylin had went, only to find her up in a tree, assumeably. Well, she could stay there if she wanted, but she wanted them to go ahead with the plan. Seeing as how Kazin counted so many goblins, that... Would really be helpful if they were all able to be convinced to be civil, personal reasons for wnating combat aside... He didn't want to die either.

Mr. Fae is ill. Ah his permission I hijack Risu for the moment.
Risu will go advice the nezumi the ways of diplomacy, or at least some friendly suggestion. Do not worry, he assures you that he will keep you healthy in the event of danger.
Climb 03:59:49 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 18 ) -2 +1 17 vs DC 15 success.
He scales a tree, and since it'll matter, the DM says the tree is 20' tall. He climbs all the way to the top and stays there From there he peers outward...
Spot 03:59:24 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 10 ) +4 14
Move Silently 03:59:26 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 7 ) -2 5
Hide 03:59:29 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 20 ) -2 18
Risu has all the silence of a grandstand band. But for someone so clunky he manages to hide well in the branches. But from here he can get a good glide going, and glide he shall, when the time is right, to deliver healing or harm as needed.
Will the noisy members ruin the plan, or will they win after all? The DM will make his actual post after Rusty... after all, everything relies on the rat girl. DO YOU FEEL PRESSURED?! OMG!! OMG!!!!!!! AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Kazin nods to the other, and stands up straight, she adjusts her clothing a little, and makes sure that her weapons are slung on her back and in respective sheathes so she doesn't appear threatening, and then boldly steps forward from the cover of the forest, letting out a call in perfect Goblinoid...
Diplomacy ( Kazin rolls 1d20+6 => , + 6 12 )
( oh cockwaffles. e.e; Hopefully that's enough though... )
Of course, what she said would roughly translate to:
<"Greetings! I Kazin of Torn-Ear Clan, tribe scout, you know of tribe, am sure, we trade many times with your people. Wish to speak with chief, matter of great importance. Please, come in peace. Do not wish trouble.">
Yes, her seeming lack of grasp on grammar applies to other languages too. e.e;
Hopefully she's made an impression... and a good one at that.

Yay! Now you all gonna die! The three nearest guards make their spot and listen checks! Jibjab the Archer (A): Spot 13:16:35 ( Atropos rolls 1d20 => 9 ) +7 -6 Scored a 10. He spots the barbarian's bulk but not well enough to identify who it is.
Listen 13:16:49 ( Atropos rolls 1d20 => 1 ) +7 -6 Scored a 2. Perhaps he should pull the cotton out of his ears, he wouldn't hear crap.
Gumgum the Archer (B): Spot 13:16:54 ( Atropos rolls 1d20 => 1 ) +7 -6 Scored a 2. Apparently someone is sleeping on the job and completely unaware.
Listen 13:16:56 ( Atropos rolls 1d20 => 9 ) +7 -6 Scored a 10. He hears something. See no evil, hear no evil? So what's next.... the warrior sees and hears the enemy but can't shout to warn?
Bleckbluck the Warrior: Spot 13:16:58 ( Atropos rolls 1d20 => 17 ) +2 -6 Scored a 13. He sees someone.... and can actually make out the barbarian, oh shi-!
Listen 13:17:00 ( Atropos rolls 1d20 => 6 ) +2 -6 Scored a 2. Everyone has cotton in their ears.
Well the barbarian was almost going to get you all in trouble, but fortunately for you they will all be promptly distracted just as the warrior Bleckbluck goes to say "There's a big humie ov'r dere!" Out comes the nezumi, bearing tales of diplomacy and peace. Sense Motive Rolls: 13:29:12 ( Atropos rolls 1d20 => 1 ) +1 Scored a 2. Dur hur hur hur, let's believe the stranger, she has candy in the back of her truck! (Now Indifferent)
13:29:13 ( Atropos rolls 1d20 => 13 ) +1 Scored a 14. Gumgum suspects something is up. This lady is fishy. (Remains Unfriendly)
13:29:14 ( Atropos rolls 1d20 => 9 ) -1 Scored an 8. The Warrior also suspects something, probably because he swore he saw a barbarian and a tall human this is not it.
The goblins glance at each other for a moment, and will scurry to approach you midway (20' away from the camp). Gumgum speaks up for the others. "Nyraghk! Gah gyabbreck chu bra-caca!" "Halt there intruder, hands up!" demanded Gumgum. "Cowl? Nicki dis boohuu maweepa han solo?" "Wait wait, what are you doing? It's a tribe scout, you wanna get us in trouble?" Jibjab defended you. But the warrior was tense and peered into the forest, pointing expressively. "Emo gro gubble me-yuk yuk! Fahubugads, mikitikinacht!" "I swore I saw someone, she's not along! Big ugly humie thing in forest!" Explain yourself rattie! Fortunately none of them have decided to sound an alarm over this just yet thanks to one of the guard's protests, but think quick and speak fast. You may want to make a bluff roll if you like to distract attention away from Alec and onto your oh so honorable intentions and purpose here.

Bluff:( Kazin rolls 1d20+5 => , + 5 24 ) ( My bluff is awesome! ) Diplomacy( Kazin rolls 1d20+6 => , + 6 12 ) (My diplomacy sucks! D: ) Kazin flattens her ears slightly and casts a flat look over her shoulder to the people hiding in the trees. " Excuse. They frighten of Goblinkind. Think nasty. Kazin apologise for lack brains of them. But good bodyguard and pets. They not hurt." She nods and gives a little bow to the goblins. Then turns to face the forest, calling out in common... "Is okay, come out. Not want make Goblins angry. Not dangerous. We speak to Chief." And she mutters under her breath, "Nearly gave game away, too. Need teach how hide." Then she turns back to the Goblins. " See chief now? Is very important. Must see soon."

Since the posts of others relies on the results, Eiji posts now. Sense Motive time!
10:58:32 ( Atropos rolls 1d20 => 3 ) +1 Scored a 4. Boy, Jibjab is easily swayed. He doesn't get any more friendly but swears you mean no harm.
10:58:35 ( Atropos rolls 1d20 => 13 ) +1 Scored a 14. It's not good enough. He doesn't get any less unfriendly.
10:58:37 ( Atropos rolls 1d20 => 16 ) -1 +2 circumstance Scored a 17. Suspicious he is, but the story pans out. He doesn't get any less unfriendly.
Except for Jibjub, the goblins are reluctant to grant your wish, but you do seem trustworthy. They send the save-failing archer off to summon the chief, while the other two stay back and watch you guys suspiciously, especially when all these freaks come out. The other guards and goblins will notice you by now, the closest one, the one with the horn, coming next to the grouping which has formed. "Mak! Pak! Gla du shu hoyoda moobadur!" "You! Stay! No funnies, we watch you good!" they threatened, but little else.

Maya narrowed her eyes as that damned ratling decided to start and rub her diplomacy gland. She figured it was hardly the time for this, having been almost literally ported to their very doorstep. If all of them had be noticed right away, the Goblins'd probably had been scared in a defensive flurry right away. Some eyes might have peered her way, though, which she didn't find too surprising; she totally sucked at stealth, after all. With an annoyed grunt, she closed her eyes, and returned her bow to rest with her ask on her back, stepping out from the shadow to make herself visible, but not doing anything else. Let the squirrel negotiate, she thought. Making her presence known to those obtuse few who might have missed it might ease a few goblin hearts. Did Maya really care though? That was unlikely. She folded her thick arms over her chest and just stood there, sulking or being generally miffed. Goblins weren't any sort of pleasant company to begin with, and now they were actually trying to start establish relations? Goblins would turn their back on a deal just as soon as it no longer suits them. Maya knew of their penchant for treachery and wouldn't trust them even if they wrote it in blood. The one thing that rubbed her the wrongest way was the ratling saying that they, including she, was scared to show themselves. "Oi! Watch your mouth, ratling!" she spoke, although she added a grin afterwards, which might lead to believe that she didn't really care. Maya may be a barbarian, but she was a barbarian in name only.
Her eyes moved back and forth over every goblin she saw. At the first hint of hostility - and she practically begged it to come - she would spring into action. It was odd to see a look of such concentration on a barbarian's face, a light cant of her head swaying her long black mane out from in front of her eyes. Whatever is going to be the case, however they eventually manage to get past these goblins, she wanted it to go fast. They had a more interesting adventure to consider.

Zion would have frowned if you could see him. He gently and slowly placed his hadn against his face and shook his head. The rat gave them away. In the event things turned hostile, now they'd have them all surrounded for sure. So much for the plan.
He still didn't want to come out, especially now after the barbarian started yelling something. He made a series of strange muttered noises, that were incoherent even if you DO make your listen check, and a light hiss followed.
Zion would remain there, hiding and cursing his luck that the diplomacy actually seemed to be working. There's still some chance that it'd fail, especially when they talked to the cheif, but...
The only things the goblins need now is to actually spot Zion, and since he's not moving the hiding DC should be just as high as before. Let me know if I need to make new checks though.
In the meantime, Zion would prepare himself a readied action of the spell 'Grease'. He could always change that later if it didn't work to a particular situation, but it was always ready to be prepared with something.

Oooh, curse those wily goblins. Who knew they'd be smarter than the average adventurer? (But gee, Yogi, shouldn' we be watchin' out for ranger smith?) Nevertheless she smiles and nods to her 'bodyguards', confident in their ability to use their initiative to defend her and themselves should stuff go bad... Though not voicing that. She patiently of course, waits for the goblin to get back. " Not worry, Kazin not do anything make goblin angry. Just need speak to chief, cannot say more. Is dangerous be here for all. much danger. Much need speak with cheif soon before too late." she replies, in a warning tone, keeping her hands behind her back, keeping an easy but firm stance. Not combatative, but authoratative... Of course, most Nezumi live underground. So seeing one above ground without the rest of her tribe is unusual, but she seems to utterly gloss over this. As Zion doesn't come out, she pretends he's not there. If the goblins haven't seen him, so much the better. She hopes the thief wasn't seen too. She nods to Maya with a little grin on her muzzle. " This Maya, very strong. Make good bodyguard. Strong, hot head, but good warrior." And she introduces her of course. She wasn't sure if Maya could speak goblinoid though. She was sure she couldn't. Oh well.

Kaylin stays still; her eyes are still watching the events unfold. She didn't roll her eyes, such would be unbefitting of her character, but she watched none the less. She wasn't too impressed; it was a plan that left too much upto chances. But, people always wanted to do what they 'knew' was right. This is why she doesn't like groups.
However, Kaylin did realise that if the ratling's plan did go off well, then she'd have a problem explaining why she didn't come out before; she may even have to sneak around and do her own way again. This wasn't too much of a problem, but it was not a great idea to get off on the wrong foot with people. Even if they did decide to take matters into their own hands with people they've only known for 10 minutes.
Kaylin was left with a choice; come out and risk being attacked without the element of suprise on her side, just in case the ratling's plan actually works, or hide out in the tree for a while longer incase the ratling's plan goes bollocks up.
Kaylin stayed put.

Fae is still out of action so here he goes.
Risu is too much of a diplomat to try and hide like the others, sound tactical strategy as it may be, so he will join the ratling in public as a member of the party. He'll let her do the talking, she seems to be doing it well enough.
The Swordsage and the Bard are MIA. You may re-arrange yourselves as you see fit (keeping in mind that it is roughly even amount of 40 ft. of plains and 20 ft. of forest around the camp). It'll invoke another hide/silent attempt, but this time nobody is paying attention, all eyes are on the newcomers...
With that said, the commander's tent opened, and oh my, here they came. First was a fully armored goblin with a morningstar clanking away against its heavily armored side, a heavy steel shield on the other arm, and a terrible smell emitting from its nether regions. Whew, it smells like that goblin hasn't taken off that suit in days!
It did not seem to be the chief, it was merely leading Tiny out....
Tiny, the 7'8", hunchbached, holy crap who beat it with an ugly stick, Hunchback of Norte Dame's half-orc brother. Appearing to be mentally challenged and physically frightening even by half-orc standards, the fur clad titan carried a tiny impish goblin on his shoulder, who compared to the orc (or actually, even other goblins) was a diamond in the rough, combed long hair and clothes that were a curious patchwork of royal attire crafted in tasteless but rich fabrics and baubles. The goblin had two shoulderpads composed of humanoid skulls, a small headdress, and just a small dagger on his side between the folds of silk and satin. His face seemed a little sharper... more sinister, than the others.
As the titanic terror towered terrifyingly over the troublesome team of three, that well-talored tyrant stood up to his full 2' balanced on the orc's hump and talked in near-perfect common.
"Eh, whatzits all about, you not look like nezumi peoples. You looks like dumb adventurers, yeah. Whatchu want, tribute maybe? Payoff for safe travel, yeah? We can give you safe travel, lotsa other bandits, pay us and we make sure no other bandits, yesss? Or, you want something else. Whatever it is, Chief Gobbledeguck want good payment for it." He waved his hand as if to say 'Gold please!'
Time to make your case, here's the king, now sing!

Kazin tries not to recoil from the smell... but it's bloody hard... Her poor nose is sensitive and it's making her eyes water, but she's fairly good at this diplomacy business so she keeps her cool.
Now comes the GENIUS part of the plan, and hopefully the others will pick up on it... She hopes... At least it's going to be all in Common, this will make things a lot easier
She bows to the captain, adopting a MOST serious expression.
"Bring grave news. Must ask, well, left alone?? Not go near? Not investigate down well? This important. Great relic down well. MUST not be touch. Powerful curse..."
She frowns, placing her hands behind her back, pinning her ears back (which is actually because of the unholy STENCH from that ugly bastard of an orc. Oh gods. Now is not a good time to be reminded of home. e.e; ) to accentuate her displeasure and worry, tail lashing about. "Very dangerous for people, even yourself. Sword slowly taint, kill all around, bring chaos in mind, cause great peril...".. And she casts a careful, wary eye to the other guards in the camp that are out of earshot, glancing to the other goblins and the Chief here... "...Should watch carefully. Maybe traitors in own midst by now."
With a sigh she wrinkles her nose a bit in distaste (again, the smell, but she passes it off as a referral to the weapon). "Kazin chosen as skilled with spirits, can defend against relic. Only wish to remove relic and leave place, not wishing to fight your tribe. Is best for both of us. Relic VERY dangerous. Guards here make sure I not fall to Relic too." She nods sternly...
Diplomacy: ( Kazin rolls 1d20+6 => , + 6 16 ) Bluff: ( Kazin rolls 1d20+5 => , + 5 15 ) (( Jesus H. Talk about 'taking 10' right up the jacksie. O.o; Hopefully that was enough mind you. ))

Eiji posts again just for the purposes of relaying the ever important reply. Oh the rolls! Its happy Sense Motive time for...
Jibjab the Archer 15:32:09 ( Eiji rolls 1d20 => 13 ) +1 = 14 (Fail) Oh how gullible Jibjab is. His attitude improves to indifferent.
Gumgum the Archer 15:32:10 ( Eiji rolls 1d20 => 18 ) +1 = 18 (Succeed) The guard doesn't believe a word, you're a fishy rat!
Bleckbluck the Warrior 15:32:11 ( Eiji rolls 1d20 => 5 ) -1 = 4 (Fail) It seems that even the suspicious Bleckbluck can be talked down if you try enough. His attitude improves to indifferent.
Now for the ones that really matter...
Hozo the Cleric 15:32:12 ( Eiji rolls 1d20 => 12 ) +2 = 14 (Fail, just barely) Lucky for you the stinking armor isn't paying attention to your bluff. It seems indifferent.
Tiny the Half-Orc 15:32:13 ( Eiji rolls 1d20 => 20 ) -2 = 18 (Su...success? BWA HA HA!) The orc without a brain figures out somethings up Can he communicate it in time? 15:42:24 ( Eiji rolls 1d20 => 20 ) -4 = 16 (WTF!) ....amazing, and the orc who is barely smarter than an animal makes his DC 15 Int check to get off a coherent sentence. We'll address that in a moment.
Gobbledeguck the Chief 15:32:14 ( Eiji rolls 1d20 => 15 ) +0 (Success, just barely.) The chief isn't buying it, and that'll be confirmed in a moment when....
"Uuuggnnh.... " groaned the orcish hulk, releasing a torrent of spittle as it spoke in highly slurred orcish. "Vurglema pjf jiefji ef asd akkfe uk." If anyone understood that, "Thing lies, bad. Dookie."The chief lifts his brow and mutters back in orcish, "Duch hora muguffe. Anam clu'kutch.". "I know. I'll take care of it, and let you playtime after."What are those two muttering about? Whatever it was, it seems to make the orc happy, a foolish stupid grin on his face and clapping as it drooled. And he leaned forward, grinning with those disturbing sharpened teeth. "You want to go in our well? We can let you, watch you, but believe you. Bring no harm to us, we'll leave you be, a good deal." And when you get in the well they'll rain arrows and javelins and fire and poison down it, and take their goods and weapons, give Tiny new corpses to play with, AND now they know there's some hidden treasure down the well. This is win-win-win for the goblins. Those silly adventurers will never know what hit them. Bluff Check! 15:54:57 ( Eiji rolls 1d20 => 8 ) + 3 = 11. DC 11 Sense Motive to realize its a trap!

Combat was Maya's element. It was the stuff from which she was born and bred, and she could taste it underneath her tongue, as a nagging sensation waiting to spread. She knew it was imminent, and in the heat of the two parties clashing their wits before switching to their weapons, she had found herself. Maya was completley calm, or so it seemed, her blood pumping strongly through her muscled form as she slightly parted her boots upon the ground, for a more solid stance. She regarded the newcomers as they appeared, and as they showed themselves outside of the comforts of their tent.
The half-orc was repugnant, even by her own standards. She had slept with a lot of ugly thugs and never saw anyone or anything quite that repulsive before. Then there was the smell. Her dark, reddish eyes narrowed as she regarded him. It was really hard to want to get close to someone who stinks that bad, she thought... Several things became clear to her though; when that big lug and the tiny goblin it carried came out in the open, the chance of getting out of this without a fight was almost certainly non-existent. The half-orc was enormous, but Maya considered herself olf-fashioned in the sense that a knee to the balls always suppled guys up. She wasn't scared, her thickly muscled, amazonian frame called upon battle of another sort.
Sense Motive check: 17:20:47 ( Alec rolls 1d20+1 => , + 1 18 )
She was perfectly aware, it seemed, that something fishy was up, and she would endure these stupid talks of peace and cooperation no longer. She had given her companions the courtesy of trying it their way, and now the time for negotiation was over. "You must really take us for complete idiots, right?" With a swift maneuver of her powerful arm, she brought her hand to the pommel of her heavy greataxe, ready to unbuckle it from its strappings on her back, and swing it out in the open.
Intimidation check: 17:36:46 ( Alec rolls 1d20+5 => , + 5 18 )
"It's little connivances like that that get my pants in a bunch! You better watch that mouth of yours, Goblin, or that big walking haemorrhoid carrying you around'll end up with my ax imbedded twixt his buttocks!"
Undaunted as of yet by the sheer size of the Half-Orc, she felt compelled to start raging, and make a mess of everything. At the same time, she knew fully well that it might be a lot cleverer to take care of the little fish first, preferentially by using her bow. She was well aware of the weakness of the rage, and how, when it ended, she would be dragging about like a burnt-out slug. About a minute worth of time... About... a lot of enemies. Choices will have to be made, soon.

Sense Motive check: 22:41:23 ( -Zion- rolls 1d20 => 17 ) + 1 = 18
Well he knew something wasn't right. Didn't that girl think that it was a bad idea to tell greedy little goblins there was hidden treasure under their camp? Oh well. He was almost sure there'd be a fight now. They both seemed to be trying to bluff their way out of this to each get what they want. Unfortunately for them... They wanted the same thing.
He still held his readied action of his 'Grease' spell. He wouldn't change his position any, so he should continue to go along unnnoticed.

Aw dick biscuits. This could go bad. Sense Motive:( Kazin rolls 1d20+1 => , + 1 3 ) Listen check:( Rusti rolls 1d20+6 => , + 6 12 ) Oh Kazin, you stupid stupid rat. e.e; For some reason, she DOESN'T pick up on it... ... Though the others clue right in, thankfully, and she blanches, taking a couple of steps back and flattens her ears. "...Kazin see speak break down. Make sense, orc not good listen. Tell truth when say sword bring much trouble for us both. Kazin not lie about that." She then turns to the Barbarian. "Kazin sorry for not make bad smell able walk away. Permission grant to kill if need be." She nods, then steps back a little more, grabbing Risu out the way too so he doesn't get stivved... ... and of course, she gives centre stage to the warriors available... With a loud rodent-like chirp heard even in the forest behind her. That was a warning call. Even if the others hadn't heard Maya, they'd hopefully hear that. Though she was disappointed. Today wasn't her day it seemed. Still, she didn't get where she was by being pretty and weak. No sirree. She's getting ready for action too... Did somebody order a fireball? . . . Too bad, she ain't got one. But she does have a sleep spell. (and I can't remember how to cast in D20. ^^; But that comes next round should combat start.)

Kaylin was not amused nor bemused. She was not revelling in irony, nor was she savouring how right she was. No, she was annoyed. Not just any old annoyed, blantently annoyed. The levels of stupidity were skyrocketing and Kaylin could not begin to comprehend how annoyed she even was at this turn of events. Her eyes ran quickly across the area; this should be a suitable distraction, anyway; her teeth gritted, eyes narrowed and twitching slightly, Kaylin quickly descends the tree and bursts into a sprint. Her stance stays the same as she begins to sprint, shadows wrap around her lithe form as the wind rushes past her; she has a whole 120ft of movement here she's not going to waste and now a 20% miss chance for 1 round! YAY!
Kaylin's movement makes it 40 ft to the edge of the encampment, she gets to the watchfire and uses a nimble ability called JUMP to vault herself from her position 20 ft. She flies through at the air, weapon drawn and brandished as she aims herself to attack...
The GOBLIN KING! Or whatever he was; Gobbledeguck! She initiates a well-learnt maneuver, exploiting weakness in his stances; finding those cracks in his power through powerful concentration; the Sapphire Nightmare Blade. Her weapon shimmers an odd purple colour as she strikes out against him; flat footed thanks to her maneuver and powerful concentration. A single blade attacking the chief; dealing extra damage and striking a critical area thanks to his lack of dexterity!
Unfortunately, she barely grazes him with such an attack; also landing prone thanks to her lack of ability to jump well, but still accomplishing something, none the less!

And of course little Kazin's first action is to cast Sleep ( Kazin rolls 2d4 => 2, 2 = 4 ) (4HD worth of creatures are asleep! ... D: ) to give her compatriots a little bit of an edge... Very little by the looks of things. e.e; Still, that's her action done. Luckily she's backed off before combat arose, with Risu beside her... Vwoomp! So THAT'S what she meant by being versed in the spirits. (One spell per day level 1 spell used. 4 level 1 spells left to cast. :3 )

And then, everything went crazy. The shrill goblin-cries of war lingered in the air, and became a cacophony of battleshouts that was difficult to hear over. Those shrill goblin tongues were so annoying, and triply so when hearing them in their grotesque symphony. Maya was all too ready to give the huge Half-Orc whatfor, but when the battle started, due to her companion sneak-attacking the leader, she felt a pang of instinct guiding her mind and her hands differently. During her time flat-footed, Maya's defense did not suffer as it did with most others: (AC remains at 18) She stood to her full, and brought one of her powerful arms to unhook her composite bow of hurting. By that time, it was probable that several arrows would have flown past her - or someone else's - ears already. The intelligence with which Maya had been credited even within her own Serpent Tribe before it was annihilated suddenly surfaced, and with it came tactical thought, and knowledge of the battlefield. Still, though, Maya voiced it plainly enough.
"Whittle down their numbers first! Forget about the leader and his stink tank for now! Less enemies to deal with means less hurt for us at the long last!"
During the time of her ranting, which she spoke in her usual powerful voice issued from the depths of her muscular torso, she had aligned one of her arrows within the coif of her composite longbow. With a quick pull of the string, the bow arms made that pleasant stretching sound, and the arrow was off, with a delicious 'thwack' sound.
Attack roll: 14:07:09 ( Alec rolls 1d20+7 => , + 7 23 ) vs. one of the further away archers (Fibble, at the west watchfire). Damage roll: 14:11:22 ( Alec rolls 1d8+3 => , + 3 5 ). Not much, but let's hope that these Goblins aren't very tough. In the best case, that'll be one Goblin less to worry over. She remained aware of the figure of Tiny the Half-Orc, figuring him to be the greatest and hardest hitting danger on the field. The +1 dodge bonus to AC from the Dodge feat is applied to defend against whatever Tiny concocts in his miniscule mind (AC 19 vs. Tiny). This will not change even if Maya continues whittling down the rank and file goblins.
It was amazing though. Even she, the battle hardened, musclebound youth, could barely bare it to stand Tiny's invasive odor. At the end of her first turn, she managed to bring her thumb and index finger to her nose, squeezing it. "I know you're probably too dumb to bathe or wipe your ass. I'll make sure to burn your corpse, or at least push it in a stream, so you can go to the afterlife clean!"

I go first! Yay! Zion had that readied action that he never got rid of. And after some careful calculating... He comes up with a devious plan. 0:3 Zion removes himself from his hiding spot and stands up tall. Now I'm sure they don't notice him until he starts heading their way in a jog. Kaylin had a surprise, and so does he! Stopping at the end of his 30 foot move straight ahead, he'll raise his hand and expend his readied action spell on the 10 foot square where the two archers and one warrior are standing, greasing the whole thing. DC 16 How very unfortunate for those three goblins that the now greased 10 foot square has a partially burning fire in bottom right corner. The grease should be able to catch fire, and if the goblins fail their saving throws, they will slip, falling down and burn alive. But that was just for the surprise attack. Oh yes, folks. There's more. Normally, he would have started out with the bardsong, but folks, who passes up an opportunity like this? Because of his high initiative he'll get to move himself again, before getting too comfortable in one spot. This time he moves out at an angle to the right, stopping right on the outside edge of the trench. Eh heh heh... He aims and fires something towards them. Well, towards... He has to angle it to make sure that Kaylin is just on the edge of it so that he won't hit her, but that shouldn't be a problem as he releases his DC 16 MINDBLAST! In a 60 foot cone, it should get everyone else that he didn't set on fire. Everyone else in the immidiate area ayways, the Goblin cheif, the orc, and the cleric. And anyone else in range should any of them be hiding anywhere. Like... In those tents. His ending position is three squares to the right of the entrance path of the camp itself. This is your bard, raining greasy firey mindblasting destruction!

Kaylin gets herself up; gripping a flask from her belt; a perfect plan for Alchemist's Fire. The flask was easily prepared as she took the aim; her target? It was certianly that guy that Mayo had decided to state not to attack; Mr Chief. The quicker he's dead, the happier Kaylin will be. It was always best to take out the leader; it was demoralizing to everyone else. So, this was the only way to go; sure, the Barbarian had a small point; but it was necssary to follow Kaylin's idea. Because she liked her own plans better. Her stance shifts (Island of Blades) for the inevitable battle before she throws the elixer; allowing her to throw the flask at the touch AC of Mr. Gobbledegook (or whatever). 1d20+4=13 And, by taking that flat-footed AC is 16 from 17, then Touch is going to be 11. Well, it's expected so, if Eiji EVER replied to me. But nooo. 1d6=6A mighty 6 firey damage to the weiner if it hits and a mighty 1 damage to everyone within 5 feet! That would most probably hit her too...

Wow, and they all fall and catch on fire, taking 5 points of fire damage as they burned. Jibjab, Gumgum, and Bleckbluck are all reduced to 0 hp and are down.... sheesh!And here come the mind blasts! In the focus are the cleric, the chief, the orc, and on the edge that bard who was about to do something, so.... CLERIC 00:02:28 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 16 ) +5 (21, succeed) HALF-ORC 00:02:29 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 6 ) -1 (5, fail) CHIEF 00:02:30 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 11 ) +3 (14, fail) BARD 00:02:31 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 18 ) -1 (17, succeed) 01:02:16 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 12 ) -1 (11, fail) 01:02:17 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 16 ) -1 (15, fail) 01:02:19 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 15 ) -1 (14, fail) 00:08:46 ( Idahriman rolls 1d4 => 3 ) Oh ironies of ironies, the orc and the chief, the two most important people, are stunned for 3 rounds! We may as well just sound the funeral bells. She also ended up targeting the 3 goblins in one of the tents by accident, hence the . They will not be coming out any time soon (bottom rightmost tent). Fibble and Cisco's turns: They both knock their bows and fire, choosing whatever target they think is the worse. Currently, that's the would be assassin, the prone Swordsage. Ironically being prone also makes her harder to hit. Vs AC 24. 00:23:52 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 16 ) +1 MISS 00:23:53 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 15 ) +1 MISS
Wiffa! Nothing! Kazin casts Sleep! She's trying to make the mostly stunned leader group helpless now. Those poor guys. Vs. DC 14. Poor Rusty. Only the Chief fell asleep (though it almost capped out his HD limit anyway)...... so the strongest monster there is stabbed, stunned, and put to sleep within 6 seconds..... Rotojojo: Rotojojo mad! He throw javelin at sleep casting woman! Traitor! Vs. AC 12 00:42:09 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 20 ) -2 +3 (21, Uh oh) Confirming the critical: 00:42:34 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 13 ) +3 (16, That'll do it, critical hit) 00:49:57 ( Idahriman rolls 1d4 => 3 ) x2 crit (6)
Taste the wrath of 6 DAMAGE RATGIRL!Doki: The rapier using rogue runs the full 60 ft to get in melee with the heroes, going to engage the cleric. If the cleric is dead, they can't heal! Vs. AC 16. 00:56:39 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 18 ) +1 +2 charge (21) 01:00:36 ( Idahriman rolls 1d6 => 3 ) (3)
Blarg! Risu takes 3 damage! The ouchings!Kaylin stands up and throws alchemist fire! Eat that! The chief is asleep though... and since that is helpless you may wish to change it to a coup de grace if you like. I've put both results here if you like... Fire! You hit AC 10 since he's not moving. The chief takes 6 damage (8 hp left), and everyone else takes 1, or.... Coup de Grace 01:07:21 ( Idahriman rolls 1d6 => 5 ) +5 x2 (20 damage.... forget the Fort save, he's dead from this)
Somehow, I think I know what you might choose to do, so... if it applies, the death of the chief invokes a will save as morale drops. I've skipped the stunned, they're too stunned to realize. DC 10 Hozo the Cleric 01:16:14 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 10 ) +5 (15, success) Fibble the Archer 01:16:15 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 7 ) +1 (8, fail, shaken) Fobble the Archer 01:16:16 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 16 ) +1 (17, success) Foo the Warrior 01:16:17 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 12 ) -1 (11, success) Joto the Archer 01:16:18 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 1 ) +1 (2, critical fail, panic) Cisco the Archer 01:16:19 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 16 ) +1 (17, success) Rotojojo the Warrior 01:16:20 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 20 ) -1 (19, success) Eek the Bard 01:16:21 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 3 ) -1 (2, fail, scared) Doki the Rogue 01:16:22 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 10 ) -1 (9, fail, shaken) Banger the Unarmed 01:16:23 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 16 ) +0 (16, success)
So Fibble and Doki are shaken at this turn of events, Eek is downright frightened, and Joto unloads his bladder and runs for the hills as fast as he can on his turn. AAAAAA!!!!So yeah, I think the chief's probably dead and you've saved yourself an Alchemist Fire. Fobble and Joto: Joto runs screaming, dropping his weapons (handaxe and shortbow) and goes 60ft away to the forest due east. Fobble is not afraid, kill the stupid Swordsage! Arrows away! Vs. AC 20. 01:30:50 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 9 ) +1 (10, miss)
Foo: Foo angry! Foo also attack Swordsage! Vs. AC 20. 01:32:58 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 12 ) +3 (15, miss)
Eek: This bard is a timid fellow, now's a good time to run. Someone else can sound that warning horn, as he zips 60 ft. due east. Run awaaaay! Maya attacks, plugging an arrow into the heart of Fibble, and he dies. He only HAD 5 hp! "Why I die so easy!" he cries as he dies. Tiny: I r so stun.... Hozo: Finally the cleric can get his revenge as you slaughter his people! Only he can slaughter people! Forget the fact that he's in melee with Kaylin just behind him.... he's casting anyway! Attack of Opportunity against him by Kaylin! AoO Vs. AC 21. 01:42:12 ( Idahriman rolls 1d20 => 8 ) + 6 (14, miss)
Lifting his hands he calls on the forces of evil to freeze his enemies in place. The barbarian is big, she goes first.... Maya, Will save DC 14 vs Hold Person for 3 rounds.(UPDATE: 02:24:10 ( Syl rolls 1d20+2 => , + 2 18 ) She saved, Hozo fails it.) Now it is revenge of the Risu. There's so many ways this can go wrong.
