Devin here.
You might know me from such threads as "A formal apology" and "Demystifying the AG" as well as other occasional posts.

This is not so much an introduction as an information loaded post.

• I've been RPing since 05.
• I've been on TK since 08.
• I used to be a moderator of the Adventurers-Guild RP room
• I quit the AG because they've turned into a bunch of assholes and fuckheads.
• I expect a very high quality of posting from those I choose to RP with.
• I tend to stick to the one character, which doesn't seem to be normal on TK.
• I prefer lengthy, in-depth plot based RP that is also consistent and regular.
• I'm posting here to get my post count up on these forums.

Now having said all that, I'm friendly and easy to get along with if you're not stupid, emo, or want to tell me about your issues and/or abusive childhood. Keep your RL sob stories to yourself, don't use me as your mirror, don't expect me to hold your hand in an RP, and there will be no problems.

Remember, being fucked up isn't a competition, and I'm sure as hell not going to give you a prize.

Hi Dev, I remember you from my own time in the AG back when you guys first moved onto tK. I always thought you were pretty cool. :3 Welcome to the boards. Just a suggestion so that this thread doesn't turn into a huge fight too, you might want to remove the reason you left the AG from that information block. :3

I don't think my having my reason for leaving the AG there's going to spark any arguments here. The AG people I knew hardly visited the TK forums. 'Sides I'm just telling the truth. (How's that for more argument fuel? Bwahaha.)

Who were you when you visited the AG, Kitten? I have an exceedingly good memory for names, so whenever I tell someone I don't remember them, I'm most likely lying so they don't have the satisfaction of being recognised.

Soooo, was browsing through the forum for the first time to see about an RPG or two and decided to introduce myself. I'm only a decade behind schedule but eh.

Stormie here, originally part of the old RhyDin rpin' gang before it fizzled out thanks to aol.
I tend to stick to just a few characters, which is rare, apparently. Either I'm trying to minimize the possibility of developmental schizo as much as possible or I'm just simple-minded--you decide.

Currently, I'm trying out the much-over-done Vampire chara, simply because 1) I never have and 2) everyone has to play a vamp once in their RP life.
I'm one of those horrible players who RPs with newly impassioned eagerness but disappears for 3 months at time when boredom or disappointment strikes. Usually a modern player, occasionally I'll dip into fantasy genres but only ones that coexist with modern RP universe well.

Anndddd boredom/disappointment strikes often, mostly because I am extremely picky about writing. But, if you'd like to play with me and consider yourself a non-obnoxious but concisely  entertaining player, I promise to stick around. I need someone(s) with which to rampage, annoy others, scheme, and on which to beat on. You know, the usual.

I've role played for ... 16 years. Wow. Um, I've done online free form (CCM Chat, Rivendell, few more, can't remember them all at this point), table top AD&D 2nd ed., 3.0/3.5, Dragonlance SAGA System, Rolemaster... good lord I feel like I'm stepping out of a Knights of the Dinner Table comic strip... um, I've done a lot of LARP in the WoD (Old World of Darkness setting, most of the venues, excepting Mummy). 

Thus far I've been confounded by role playing on Forums, although I hope to change that if there's heavy forum role plays going on here - this site looks like it has some interesting characters and judging by some of the other people who've given info here, it must be a fairly stable site which... is really new and awesome to me.

Anyways, this is kind of a pre-Lurking post as I haven't really read much on the boards besides this post after registering (and having seen TK site) so off to lurk and check out the details of how one gets into role plays here and what not.
